DESCRIPTION: The Louisville Leopard Percussionists are a non-profit, community
based ensemble of 50+ student musicians ages 7-11 from Louisville, KY. Students
learn to improvise, compose, and arrange music while performing a broad repertoire
of classical, ragtime, jazz, Latin, and pop tunes. As performers, the students
rotate among the instruments and become proficient on several. Students also
have the opportunity to study percussion techniques and perform with professional
artists. |
