The CD release by Crosspulse, entitled Serpentine, portrays this group's unique style and talent. The folkloric roots, from which the group takes it's direction, is ever-present and is executed in a fashion that would no doubt please even the musical purist.
Crosspulse, is by no means just an Afro/Cuban cover band. The group's original compositions and arrangements maintains a tie to tradition while presenting unique and modern music which at times takes a comical direction. The flawless vocal harmonies presented on the recording is reason alone why one should get this cd.
