Robyn LobeRobyn Lobe's greatest asset is her versatility and passion for all styles of music. The New York-based percussionist, dancer and choreographer has worked with a wide array of talent, ranging from such artists as Robert Palmer, Moby, Maxwell and Deee-Lite. From Latin to Reggae-Pop to straight-ahead Rock and Roll, Lobe has proven that she has the chops and experience to lift music to a higher level.

In the Latin music realm, Lobe had performed with Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Angela Carrasco, Iris Chacon, Charlie Palmieri and a host of others. She was also the host of the first television disco show, Step by Step, which ran on NBC for 52 weeks and was nationally syndicated and distributed on cable TV. Lobe has also performed on The Arsenio Hall Show, Saturday Night Live, Conan O'Brien and many other television shows. Her many live appearances include Woodstock 1995, The Salsa Festival of New York at Madison Square Garden and the 1985 Varadero Music Festival in Cuba with Johnny Colon.

Lobe and her dance company, Dance Mania perform in clubs throughout the New York area, and even had a prestigious arrangement at Rockefeller Center's Rainbow Room. Lobe has also toured with Sergio George's Dark Latin Groove Project. She also danced and played the congas for three years with Eddie Torres. Currently Lobe's main focus is as an active member of Retumba, an Afro-Cuban percussion and dance ensemble that performs and conducts workshops and seminars throughout the United States.
