On January 29, 1999, Latin Percussion hosted a party to celebrate LP's 35th Anniversary and LP's Founder Martin Cohen's 60th Birthday. The event took place in the Golden State Room at the downtown Los Angeles Omni Hotel. The concert included a birthday tribute and featured many of LP's greatest West Coast endorsers.
