Internationally recognized drummer and percussionist, Aldo Mazza is perhaps best known for his work with the percussion group Répercussion. However, Aldo is also the artistic director of KOSA International Percussion Workshop, a faculty member at the McGill Conservatory of Music in Montreal, Canada, and a highly sought after recording artist, and clinician.
During his twenty-seven years with the percussion quartet, Répercussion, Aldo has been on two world tours, recorded five CDs, and participated in over 2,500 concerts. The popular percussionist has also made numerous television appearances; has played with the major Canadian symphony orchestras; has performed at music festivals around the world; and has played for Canadian Prime Ministers, and American Presidents.
As a freelance artist, Aldo has recorded over one hundred albums and sound tracks, and has appeared on recordings with Céline Dion, Jon Bon Jovi, and Aldo Novo. He appears regularly as a drum set artist, but he is equally acclaimed as a world percussionist and as a concert percussion performer, and has appeared with James Brown, Chris De Burgh, and Oliver Jones.
For the past fourteen years Aldo has rounded out his career as a music educator by instructing at the McGill Conservatory of Music, and as a part time instructor at McGill University's Faculty of Music.
