Ray Luzier graduated from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California in '89 and was a teacher there at P.I.T. from '92-'01. Ray joined Korn in October 2007. Previously, he was the drummer in Army of Anyone, which features multi-platinum artists Robert and Dean DeLeo from Stone Temple Pilots and Richard Patrick from Filter. Their debut CD was co-produced with Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Jane's Addiction, Kiss, Alice Cooper).

Ray was in the David Lee Roth Band for 8 years from '97-'05. He toured the globe 5 times and made 2 CDs with the band. According to Ray it was “an amazing experience”. He also has recorded, performed and toured with many great bands and artists including Billy Sheehan (DLR, Mr. Big, Steve Vai), The Nixons, Jake E. Lee (Ozzy, Badlands... his first tour in '94 "Wicked Alliance"), Hideous Sun Demons, Doug Pinnick (King's X), John 5 (Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie), James LoMenzo (Black Label Society, Megadeth), Rafael Moreira (Pink, Christina Aguilera), Slash (G 'n R, Velvet Revolver), Seal, Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Zakk Wylde (Ozzy, BLS), along with countless others.

Luzier also enjoys recording sessions, including tracks for TV and movies. He has played over 1700 shows and recorded on over 40 CDs. His 2005 instructional DVD  has many lessons including double bass, warm-ups, drum fills and motion exercises all in one DVD with a companion booklet. It also features Billy Sheehan and Toshi Hiketa in the performance section.
