  • CHRISTIAN MORAGA

    Oscar Hernandez & Alma Libre

    Christian Moraga, originally from Santiago, Chile, has studied in Cuba with master percussionist “Changuito”, as well as various genres of percussion in Peru and Brazil, and the Harbor Conservatory of the Performing Arts in New York City. Based in Los Angeles, he has performed with artists such as Arturo Sandoval, Chaka Kahn, Poncho Sanchez, Harvey Mason, Bob Mintzer, Conrad Herwig,Gordon Goodwin, Oscar D’Leon, Nestor Torres, Bennie Maupin, “El Canario”, Tito Nieves, Ismael Miranda, Jimmy Bosh, and many others. Currently, he is working as the band director and multipercussionist player with his Latin Jazz Quartet “Conganas”. He continues to work with Oscar Hernandez and his band "Alma Libre", and is the drummer onEstrella TV’s “Noches con Platanito”.
